Weddings and kenduri

Kenduri desserts that survive the afternoon.

Large counts, a date that cannot move, and a room that gets warmer as the day goes on. That last part decides more than most people realise.

The condition nobody plans for

A kenduri runs for hours. Doors open and close, fans work harder than air conditioning, and a dessert table set up at ten in the morning is still being visited at three in the afternoon. Anything chocolate-shelled sitting out in that is being asked to do something difficult.

This is the single most useful thing we can tell you, and it costs you nothing: choose the format for the room, not for the photograph. Kenduri desserts that look perfect at nine and tired at two have failed, even though the product was fine when it arrived.

Displayed for hours

The Dubai Chewy needs no chilling and holds better at ambient temperature.

Handed to guests

The shelled original, a chilled product, for impact when it is opened.

Both at one event

One quote, one production run, one delivery.

Where it fits in a kenduri or wedding

Four places, each needing a different format and a different count.

The dessert table

Set out and taken by guests through the event. Individually wrapped survives far better than anything open, because only the piece being taken is exposed to the room. Order above your guest count, because people take a second one when they pass twice.

Door gifts on the way out

Handed over as guests leave, so the product goes straight into a car and then home. This is where the shelled original is at its best, and where presentation matters most. Door gifts and hampers

Hantaran and family gifts

Smaller counts, higher expectation on how it looks. Tell us this is the purpose when you enquire, because it changes what we recommend.

Through your caterer

If a caterer is running your event, they can order it as part of their service rather than you managing a separate delivery on the day. Usually the calmer route. Caterer and event supply

Planning a wedding order

Four things worth settling early, in the order they usually go wrong.

Book the slot, not just the idea

Wedding season and festive season overlap in Malaysia, and both compete for the same production capacity. A quote reserves nothing. Confirming is what books your date.

Give us the guest count, not the piece count

And tell us whether it is a sit-down or an open house, because open house numbers move in a way sit-down numbers do not.

Decide indoor or outdoor early

A marquee, a compound or an open hall changes which product we recommend. Tell us the venue type in the first message rather than after the quote.

Name someone to receive it

On a wedding day the people organising are the people getting married or their family, and nobody is answering the phone. Give us a name and number of someone who is not in the ceremony.

Ordering as a family or a committee

You do not need a business to order, and a family or a surau committee is quoted exactly the way a caterer is. That means a written quote with the price, the minimum and a delivery window before anything is confirmed, rather than a verbal figure that shifts.

It also means the minimum applies to you as it does to everyone. If your count falls short, ask us before assuming it is impossible. Changing the packing format or adding the second product sometimes brings a short order into range. Minimum order quantity

Tell us the date and the room

Guest count, the date, indoor or outdoor, and whether it is displayed or handed over. That is enough for us to recommend the format and quote it.
