Private label food manufacturer, Kajang

A private label food manufacturer with your brand on the box.

We produce under your name for hotels, caterers and brands that need a product made properly rather than resold.

What working with a private label food manufacturer actually changes

Less than most people expect, and more than the packaging. The product is still made in the same kitchen, to the same specification discipline, against a scheduled slot. What changes is that your name is on it, which means your reputation now carries whatever we produce. That raises the stakes on both sides and it should change how carefully the specification is written.

It also changes the timeline. A standard order is limited by our production schedule. A private label order is usually limited by your packaging, because nothing can be packed until the packaging exists. Most delays in private label work happen before production ever starts.

Your brand

Packaging, naming and presentation are yours.

Our production

Made in our Kajang kitchen against a written specification.

One agreement

Volume, exclusivity and ownership settled in writing before the first run.

Who orders private label from us

Four situations where using a private label food manufacturer is worth the extra lead time and the higher minimum.

Hotels

Room amenities, turndown gifts and branded items on a dessert menu, where the property name on the box is the entire point. This is the most common private label request we receive and the one with the tightest presentation requirements. Hotel supply

Caterers and event companies

Client-branded gifts, where your client wants their company name on what guests take home. You keep the relationship and the margin instead of pointing your client at a supplier who will quote them directly next year. Caterer and event supply

Corporate gifting companies

Volume runs under your catalogue name, usually seasonal and usually planned months ahead. If you sell into the festive market, the packaging conversation needs to start well before the production one.

Brands without a kitchen

A product you want to sell but cannot make. We produce it and you own the brand around it, which only works if you are honest with us early about volume, because the economics change completely between a hundred units and ten thousand.

What stays yours

If you bring us a recipe or a specification, it stays yours. We produce to it and we do not put it into anything else. If we develop something specifically for you, ownership and exclusivity are agreed in writing before the first production run, not assumed by either side afterwards.

We will tell you plainly which category a request falls into. A private label food manufacturer that is vague about this at the start is usually planning to be vague about it later, and the time to settle it is while you still have the option of going elsewhere. Your brand, your packaging and your customer relationships are yours in every case.

What private label adds to a standard order

Four real costs that any honest private label food manufacturer should put in front of you. Weigh them now rather than after you have promised a launch date to somebody.

Packaging lead time

Nothing can be packed until your packaging is produced and delivered. This is the single biggest cause of missed dates in private label work, and it sits mostly on your side of the timeline rather than ours.

A higher minimum

Setting up a run under your name costs more than adding volume to an existing one, so the minimum order is higher than for a standard product. The figure is confirmed in writing when we quote.

Approval rounds

You will want to see and approve the product in your packaging before a full run. Build that round into your schedule rather than assuming the first production is the final one.

A longer schedule overall

Between packaging, approval and production, a private label order takes materially longer than reordering something we already make. Plan in months for a first run, not weeks.

How your packaging can look

Presentation formats we produce into. A private label food manufacturer does not have to supply your packaging, so if you already have artwork or a packaging supplier, bring them and we will work to what you have.

What we need in order to quote

A private label food manufacturer cannot price a brief. Send these five things and you get a real number instead of a range.

Which product

Whether you want Kunafa Pistachio Chocolate Bar, The Dubai Chewy, or something developed for you. The third option is a different conversation with a different timeline, and we will tell you honestly whether this kitchen can make it properly at your volume.

Volume and frequency

A single seasonal run and a standing quarterly order price completely differently. Give us the realistic number rather than the hopeful one, because the quote you build a business case on should be the quote you can actually meet.

Packaging status

Whether artwork exists, whether a packaging supplier is appointed, and whether anything has been printed yet. If none of that is settled, say so. It is the normal starting point and it mostly determines your timeline.

Your date

The date the finished product needs to be in your hands, and what it is for. Work backwards from a launch or a season rather than forwards from today.

Compliance requirements

Certification, labelling and documentation your market or your client requires. Raise this first. It is the fastest way to find out whether we are the right kitchen for you. Halal and compliance

What we will not do

We will not reproduce a product that belongs to another brand. If you bring us something bought off a shelf and ask for the same thing under a different name, we will decline, because the same answer is what protects you the day somebody takes your product to another kitchen.

We will not promise exclusivity we cannot hold, and we will not agree to a launch date that depends on packaging nobody has ordered yet. Saying yes to either is easy at the quote stage and expensive for you three months later, and a private label food manufacturer that agrees to everything in the first meeting is the one to be careful with. How the kitchen works

Start with a conversation, not a packaging brief

Choosing a private label food manufacturer starts with four answers, not a brief. Tell us the product, the volume, the date and where your packaging stands. We will come back with a written quote, a minimum order and a realistic timeline, or an honest no if this is not work our kitchen should take.
